Week 17: Eagle Focus
Will You Cross the Line?
Over the past few months we have listened, learned, and led one another in order to gain a deeper understanding of different personalities. Now it’s time to explore how to effectively communicate with those who are people-focused as well as those who are task-driven. This means learning how to assess leading above and below the line. Crossing the line refers to navigating the divide that separates people and tasks. Learning to influence and lead in both arenas is critical to creating and sustaining strong relationships while experiencing successful execution of goals and tasks.
This month, during your Eagle Team time, you will engage one another in a conversation about choosing to “cross the line” while communicating with others. Our Eagle Team will also discuss the challenges and rewards of making this choice. It’s not enough to simply understand personality differences. If we are going to truly lead well, we must do the work of “crossing the line” in our leadership. This month’s content will challenge you to get out of your comfort zone in order to make a difference!
