Week 45: Eagle Focus
Make A Difference…The Choice is Yours
Welcome to our last Session of Eagle Teams. It has been an incredible time of listening, laughing, learning, and leading ourselves and each other as we have shared our experiences over the past twelve months.
Let’s briefly review what we’ve discussed and learned.
Sessions Recap
Session One: We took the Make a Difference Assessment. You discovered your own personality style and began thinking about how it affects others.
Session Two: We confirmed that personalities really matter and that the central part of leadership is our relationships with others, both personally and professionally.
Session Three: We expanded our view of leadership by learning about Myth #1: “Everyone views the world from the same perspective that I do.”
Session Four: We looked at what others see when they look at us through Myth #2: “Others view me, the same way I view myself.”
Session Five: We asked, “Will you cross the line?”, separating people-driven personalities from task-driven personalities.
Session Six: We gave you the “Essential Gift” of relationships: how to validate each personality type.
Session Seven: We discussed the four components of Emotional Intelligence (EQ): Self Awareness, Self Management, Social Awareness, and Relationship Management.
Session Eight: We debated how successfully navigating conflict differs with each personality.
Session Nine: We learned The Leadership Dance, moving among the personality quadrants to influence others.
Session Ten: We learned about the Relationship Triangle, that it begins with a foundation of respect and culminates with trust.
Session Eleven: We examined building Relationship Infrastructure and how to complete each step of the Relationship Triangle with each personality.
Reflection Questions

Which session challenged you the most?
Which session has been the most beneficial to you?
Remember to use your Eagle Teams Digital Notebook to document any reflections or thoughts on the past year you’ve shared with your peer group.
